On Saturday 22nd August, students from our Centres will come together at Dixons Newall Green Academy in Wythenshawe for one of the biggest moments in their Tang Soo Do journey.

Somehow, we’ve gone from “Happy New Year!” to “Where has the summer gone?” in the blink of an eye. And before we know it, hundreds of our students from across north Manchester will be walking into the Sports Hall at Bury Grammar School on Sunday 23rd August ready to do what they’ve been working towards for the last couple of months

Graduations are a pivotal event at Family Martial Arts Centres, occurring every two months with great enthusiasm

In martial arts, we spend a huge amount of time working with partners. Whether you’re practising combinations, self-defence drills, sparring or simply holding pads, your progress is directly linked to the person standing opposite you. That means being a good training partner is not just a nice extra - it is an essential part of becoming a better martial artist.

Graduation….. What’s it all about?

Time for our next Graduation of 2024. Unfortunately, it falls over the Easter break so it'll likely be a bit quieter than usual, but...

It's a confirmation & a demonstration of what you have learned Graduations are a way for you to demonstrate that you have learnt the syllabus content for any particular period. They are not compulsory but are the way in which you gain your next belt & move along the journey towards your Black Belt & beyond. Your Instructor will be able to tell you if you have reached the required level & attended enough classes. All students should be guided by the advice of their Instructor.
